The Selfish Gene
One of the (only) two books I read during the vacation was The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins. 30 years ago it was a whole new novel idea of looking at (Darwinian) evolution and it has changed that area of science up until now. I read the 30 year edition but apart from some additional remarks (also the hindsight remarks are very interesting) the book stands as it was in the 70s. If you are interested in the subject, it is highly recommended! Thorough, easy to read and interesting!
